1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of panthercoating.com and the concrete coating services provided by Panther Coatings ("Panther Coatings," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, requesting an estimate, or hiring us to perform work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Use of Website

The site is provided for informational purposes and to help you request and schedule services. You agree not to use the site to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, transmit malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

3. Free Estimates and Scheduling

Our on-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. When you book an estimate through our website or by phone, we'll confirm the appointment and reach out 24 hours in advance. If we're running late or need to reschedule, we'll contact you as soon as possible — and we ask the same courtesy in return. Repeated no-shows may make scheduling future appointments difficult.

An estimate is not a binding contract. Pricing is based on what we observe on site and is finalized in a written proposal that both parties sign before any work begins.

4. Deposits and Payment

For most projects we collect a deposit at the time of booking to reserve your installation date and order materials. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the job, after you've walked the floor with our installer and signed off on the work. Deposits are refundable up until materials are ordered or scheduled work begins; once materials are ordered, deposits become non-refundable to cover product and scheduling costs.

Accepted payment methods will be listed on your written proposal. Returned payments and overdue balances may be subject to reasonable fees as permitted by law.

5. Change Orders

If you'd like to add square footage, change colors after material has been ordered, request additional repairs, or otherwise modify the scope after the proposal is signed, we'll document the change in a written change order and adjust pricing and timeline accordingly. Verbal changes are not effective until reduced to writing and accepted by both parties.

6. Lifetime Guarantee and Warranty Exclusions

We back our installed coating systems with a written lifetime guarantee against peeling, delamination, and manufacturer defects, when installed by Panther Coatings crew members on properly prepared concrete and used for its intended residential or commercial purpose. The guarantee does not cover, and we are not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by structural failure, settlement, or moisture migration through the underlying concrete slab.
  • Damage from impact, abrasive equipment, sharp objects, chemical spills outside normal household or shop use, or improper cleaning products.
  • Pre-existing cracks, hollow spots, or contamination not visible at the time of installation.
  • Modifications, repairs, or topical treatments performed by anyone other than Panther Coatings.
  • Cosmetic variation in flake color or distribution that falls within normal industry tolerance.
  • Acts of God, vandalism, fire, flooding, or other events outside our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panther Coatings' total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the project at issue. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, gross negligence or willful misconduct).

8. Intellectual Property

All content on panthercoating.com — including text, photos, logos, graphics, and design — is owned by Panther Coatings or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. The Panther Coatings name and logo are our trademarks.

9. Customer Photos, Reviews, and Testimonials

If you submit a review, photo, video, or testimonial to us — directly or through a third-party platform like Google or Facebook — you grant Panther Coatings a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and share that content in our marketing, on our website, and on social media, with attribution by first name and city only unless you authorize otherwise. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not violate anyone else's rights. You can ask us to remove your content from our channels at any time by contacting info@panthercoating.com.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Panther Coatings, we ask that you contact us first so we have the opportunity to resolve it directly — most issues can be worked out with a phone call. If we can't resolve it informally within thirty (30) days of written notice, the parties agree to attempt mediation in Lancaster County, South Carolina before pursuing other remedies. This section does not prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in court.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 10, the state and federal courts located in Lancaster County, South Carolina have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that proceeds to litigation, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
